Day 2 (Part 1): Mount Pilatus, Luzern cruise and Luzern old town

Day 2 of my trip and I am going to a famous place. My fight was from Klia to Doha to Zurich.

After arriving, I went to Lucrene for a 1 night stay.

At the mall underneath the train station for food. I had to buy breakfast.

A lot of people for a weekday

I boarded a Bus to Kriens from Luzern

We reached the bus stop that we were supposed to get out.

We still have to walk to the cable car station.  By the way, "we" is my family and I.

This mountain has a famous story about a dragon. 

My ticket is unique.

At 8.15, we took the cable car up.

The scenery is beautiful

There are 3 stops (including the last stop) on the way up. The first stop includes this playground for kids.

The second stop includes this wonderful scenery of the lake.

The second stop has an adventure park. Sadly, it only opens at 11am

We had to change to a different cable car to go to the mountain top. This cable car is more spacious

A Chapel and a Cross. This is Klinsenhorn peak.

Wow. We will be taking a cruise there later.

Finally, we reached the top

I decided to climb up the peak. This is the tourist center

It is very misty as it rained earlier.

I soon felt very cold, so I went to check out what was on display at the tourist center.

I went down the mountain in the steepest tram in the world.

I reached Alpnachstad for the cruise.

This lake is so clear you can see the bottom of it. There are swans here as well.

Someone thought it was a good idea to put a ladder to the lake since it is crystal clear.

Reached Luzern.

Going to walk to the post office for awhile to check it out.

I ate at a Thai shop because food is expensive here. MYR is pretty much worthless in many countries.

We decided to use the Chapel Bridge one last time before going to another town named Wengen which is near Jungfraujoch. 

It stopped raining.

The bridge has a lot of paintings but the center area doesn't have paintings because of a fire in 1996.

The flowers are beautiful.

I am going to check out of my hot. See the next post on the train to Wengen.

Fun fact: Switzerland is one of the safest countries in Europe.
