Today is the first time I'm going to see the pope, head of the catholic church, in real life. So... I should be excited but to be honest, some churches in kl like the paintings in Assumption church PJ have raised my art standards a bit too high...
If you haven't went to assumption church Pj, please do... The altar pieces there are on par to those here and even better than some.

It's sad that no one puts any plagues or booklets of anything to tell who the statutes are.

The Papal audience tickets. They are free.
You can obtain them by walking to the bronze gate on the right side of the square. You might need to fax into the Vatican office for them if you are visiting during peak season.
