Day 3: Jungfraujoch (Eiger, Mönch, Jungfrau)

Today is a new day at Wengen and my family and I decided to go and check out the tallest peak in Europe. I came from Luzern to here yesterday.

Good morning Wengen.

The streets are so quiet. It is 8am now. 

I boarded the train to a small town before jungfrau.

To Grindelwald. I will go there another day.

I have to use another train to get to the top

Another exchange station. This train will cut through the mountain.

You still have to walk a bit to reach the entrance.

Now, we will start the tour of the place.

1st room: 3D projection area

2nd room: effects of climate change

4th area is above. I skipped the third area.

The elevator brings you up to the mountain top. There is a watch shop here.

Wow. It is not as cold as I expected.  I wasn't even wearing gloves of a scarf.

This deck has been here for almost 60 years.

The weather slowly started to clear up on one side.

The other side is still snowing. This is the glacier

I went back down to the lower deck to get down

Then, I went back to the train station to go back. We were all tired so we slept in the train.

We walked around in Wengen for awhile.
